Fraser court seafood's food and prices are probably one of the best in town. Service is just like any other Chinese establishment; servers were fairly quick to get you seated and take your orders. This has been one of my favourite go to places but today's experience was extremely peculiar.
Upon entering the restaurant and being seated, there's a huge monitor with a windows desktop displayed. I could see a worker on a computer which is connected to that massive display (the size of the whole back wall. He was googling for what appears to be Korean songs but on the google history, you can see "cheating YouTube tedtalk" and "9gag". I thought this was peculiar but no biggie.
As time went on, I heard Korean music being played... in a Chinese restaurant. Later, a man in a black suit (assuming he was a manager) was on the computer playing Korean music videos on the big screen. This was beginning to become inappropriate because if I was wanting to hear Korean music I'll do that on my own time, or I'll be in a Korean restaurant! What made it more astonishing was that the music videos had kpop singers doing grinding moves and showing a lot of skin. Normally I don't care, but there were children in the restaurant! Come on man! Also that manager was walking around the restaurant with a smug perverted look on his face. A female server walked by him and asked "why are you putting this kind of sexy Korean music up?" (In Cantonese) but he just smiled and walked toward the front of the restaurant and sat down to watch the videos.
Conclusion: food and prices were great, but this restaurant hired a pervert who doesn't give a crap about how he sexualizes his restaurant and how he doesn't respect his fellow female workers.
I'll have to contemplate whether I want to support this kind of business. In the future. -

Fraser court is located right on Fraser and 19th in the Mount Pleasant area. There is limited parking but there is some residential parking in the area. I would say this is one of the nicer looking Chinese restaurants in the area. The decor is quite grand but a little dated. The tables were big and spacious.
We came here for my grandma's birthday dinner and it was a weekday but I was really surprised to only see 4 tables of customers. The food was okay we ordered one of the set menus for 12 of us. I did really enjoy the soup and the sweet and sour pork . But I have to say the service was really lacking because the server was not attentive and didn't seem like he wanted be there. When we asked for the wifi password he just pointed to the other side of the room and didn't even bother to day anything. -

Came here for dim sum w mom, bbgrl and my friends on a Sunday afternoon.
Pros:
- parking lot w plenty of spaces in the back
- residential parking on the inside streets
- legit dim sum (tables full of Asian aunties, uncles, grand, and gramps)
- no dim sum carts, but carry round on trays
Cons:
- loud, busy, cramped
- like really busy
Note* call and make resos to avoid a lineup at peak dim sum

Have been at this restaurant so many times for dimsum that I have lost count already...It's one of those places that locals love for their great prices and great flavours. But no, it's not a fancy restaurant and sometimes you may feel a bit rushed as the servers are running around with orders and drinks. Don't worry, just grab that dimsum sheet and check off what you want abs just give it to them.
The decor is a bit out of date and may need a facelift in the near future, but as for their dimsum? It's definitely something we come back time and time again for. -

Disappointing after my cousin had his wedding here i thought i would choose this place to have my birthday here next.
There were a few red flags i came in to put a deposit down to confirm.
I decided to wait a bit closer to the date which menu id like to have.
They dont have all their menus posted online
so i had to ask the manager to send me a copy of the menu and he said he would text it to me.
The next day i call again because still nothing i ask him if he can just email it to me right then and he said NO very rudely. and will do it later this happened
I called 2 days later again and he said he cant send jt to me and can only fax.
I dont have a fax machine LOL.
so i had it faxed to work and everytime he says he does something he lies so as a result i had to take off from work earlier because i do not have a fax machine and the event was in 2 days.
If i decided on the menu on the phone i was afraid he wouldn't take it down properlly.
Portions were way to small
even though the room was small the service was terrible everytime i waved the server over they wouldnt be paying attention i had to wait for them to finish their conversation.
Also they tried to charge us an extra table that we did not even have we paid and then we thought about it and wondered why it was so expensive and calculated it down and the lady finally admitted we only had 4 tables.
Music in the next room was to loud all we could hear was chinese karaoke
if i could give 0 stars i would never doing business here again and neither of my friends or family.
